Hope Alive Health Initiative offers general and preventative health care for all ages in Nkporo and the surrounding communities. The hospital utilizes a trained staff, new equipment, sound medical training, a referral system and nearby hospital facilities in order to maximize the care for each patient.

Our Mission

The mission of HopeAlive Health Initiatives is to promote the health and well-being of the local population by providing accessible, high quality primary medical care for people of all ages in Nkporo in Ohafia LGA and its environs regardless of economic status. HopeAlive Health Initiatives is committed to providing services that will exceed the expectations of our patients. We accomplish this through promoting healthy behaviour and lifestyle choices through educational outreach and providing the tools needed to maintain optimum physical and emotional health.

Our Vision

At HHI, our vision is that all people, regardless of age, social status, religion, communities , have access to healthcare that available and affordable throughout the course of their lives. So, we envision establishing a health center that offers comprehensive primary care medical services that cover every stage of the life cycle facilitated by a professional, courteous staff. Our goal include eliminating any barriers that prevent people from accessing health care.

Location Facilities

The start-up requirements include use of already existing Ukwa Comprehensive Health Center facility. The facility was built in 2009 and has been lying fallow but still in good shape. The total office space will be approximately 1,158 sq. feet and the lot size is 115.5′ x 66′. There is also a storage shed which is 10 x 12 ft. The center is located just off the main road and the center has perimeter fencing and off road parking for eight cars plus a generous carport, as well as a wide driveway entrance for patient convenience.
